Sermon Notes 7/27 – The Alpha and Omega

1 Corinthians 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam became a living being. The Last Adam became a life giving spirit

Genesis 1:26 Then god said, Let Us make man in Our image according to Our likeness let them have Dominion over all the Earth

God’s original plan for man was heaven on earth

When Adam sinned he turned over the title deed to this earth to the devil

By default Satan acquired dominion over this world

John 12:31 Now is the judgment of this world now the Ruler/Prince of this world will be cast out and if I be lifted up from the earth I will draw all people to myself

The devil is in control of the cosmos = the world system

Genesis 3:15 is The First Gospel or the Proto Evangelium

God’s plan of redemption went in to action right away

Satan thought that jesus suffering on the cross was his idea

The Second Adam 1 Corinthians 15:45 And so it is written The first man Adam became a living being.  The Last Adam became a life giving spirit

Jesus is fully God and fully man we are redeemed and bought back from the devil with a price = the blood of Jesus

Revelation 5:5 But one of the elders said to me Don’t week Behold the Lion of the tribe of Judah the Root of David has prevailed to pen the scroll and loose its seven seals

Jesus took back the title deed of the earth

Jesus descended into hell and took back the keys to death hell and the grave
