STEPS WE NEED TO BE SAVED | Growth Track

ACKNOWLEDGE YOU’RE A SINNER Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. We have all sinned and we all need a savior.

BELIEVE THE GOSPEL Acts 16:30 – 31 Then he brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, along with everyone in your household.”

REPENT OF YOUR SINS This means turn away from your sins & turn toward the Lord. Turn to the Lord where you’ll find forgiveness, hope and grace. Mark 1:15 “The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”

RECEIVE CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR John 3:16 “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. 1 John 5:13 I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life. Ask Jesus into your life.

CONFESS HIM AS YOUR LORD Romans 10:9 That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. What are my next steps after salvation?

WATER BAPTISM Water baptism is a symbolic burial, by which the new Christian publicly declares they have died, and are now beginning a new life, in Christ. The believer is put completely under water, then immediately raised out of the water. Water baptism is a statement of faith: my old life is behind me and a new life in Christ is in front of me.

THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT is a Biblical experience found in Acts 2. It is for every believer after salvation and includes speaking in tongues. You can be prayed for to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit after every service.
