Ways To Receive Your Freedom Through Prayer
We celebrate this week America’s Independence, its freedom
This freedom did not come easy
In the same way, we as Christians should celebrate Freedom.
  • Freedom from our sins
  • Freedom from the past
  • Freedom from hell
  • Freedom from condemnation
  • Freedom from ourself
This freedom was fought for, was bled for by JESUS CHRIST
This freedom did not come easy but if we fight, to simply recognize what Christ has already done
YOU TOO CAN RECEIVE THIS FREEDOM THROUGH PRAYER
Today I want to Celebrate our “Declaration of Dependence”  Our Dependence on Christ and His word
Prayer is our Right
Jesus never taught the disciples how to heal or speak, how to be charming or convincing with their words
Jesus taught the disciples How to Pray
Prayer is a must, it is an essential
The two most important forces in the world:
  • Prayerlessness
  • Prayerfulness
Mark 5 21:24
  1. Freedom is through prayer as we ask
Freedom in our Prayer life starts with a prayer life
We have the same access to Jesus now as Jairus did in the day.
Prayers of Faith
Philippians 4:6-7
Much of our prayer is powerless because it lacks earnestness.
Ernest Prayers demonstrate that our heart cares passionately about the same things God cares about.
Philippians 4:6-7
You hear scriptures all of the time Get taken out of context
  • Ask and you shall receive
  • All thing work together for the Good
  • Let your requests be made known to God
Whenever there is a promise from God, there is always some instruction we need to follow
Here is the Promise
  • Supernatural Peace
  • A guarded heart
  • A guarded Mind
Our position
Thankful: approach Jesus with not a list of requests but heartfelt, earnest, petitioning, desperate prayer.
In Everything: Prayer for your whole life. Paul states to pray without end, the Bible states to Keep knocking
When all this is done, miracles will happen
  1. Freedom comes through prayer as we surrender
Our biggest obstacle in prayer can be ourself (Pride)
The very thing that can stop us from answered prayers, from true freedom in ourself and our own pride
Where do we need to be, to be in a position where we are FULLY dependent of Jesus and not of ourself.
How can we Receive Freedom through Prayer….. To give it up and let it go “Surrender”
This Changed my life forever
Freedom was not achieved when Jairus’s Daughter was healed, it was when he decided to  Fall at the feet of Jesus
God’s Will will happen regardless of ourselves…….
It was up to Jesus weather this man’s daughter was healed, He just needed to take the position of Victory “Giving it completely to Jesus”
Letting Go takes the pressure off
We are often our biggest critic,  the pressure that we put on ourself is gone when we relinquish control
Why Surrender ? It moves the heart of God
Mat 6:8
Daniel 9:22-23
Let your requests be made known
When we pray, we move the heart of God. He is looking for a heart that Surrenders
Why would He have a scripture that states for us to Ask, and make those requests…. He wants us to surrender our hearts
Visual
We need to fully understand the Letting Go, it does not mean another option
What I call a prenuptial prayer
A Plan B to the prayer
When I pray for people I expect nothing short of a Miracle
  1. Freedom comes through prayer knowing our position
God’s will was the end result here but there were 3 obstacles that come in the way.
Maybe it was not your time, you keep asking … Dont worry about the end result , Gods will is happening
I did not see the power of prayer until I cried out
  • Until I fully surrendered
  • Until I knew My position in Christ
  • A praying believer is a dangerous one.
  • A praying believer expects miracles and sees miracles
  • A praying believer keeps asking and receives the good and perfect will of god
  • A praying believer sees Strongholds broken
  • A praying believer sees addictions disappear
We need to be crying out to the Lord like never before
Today can be the day that you decide to Receive Freedom….. it’s up to you
