Sermon Notes 12/19 – Overcoming Challenges

We are not alone and we have Jesus who wants to help us through our
challenge

Matthew 14:22-33
1. Surrender to Jesus

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own
understanding.”-Proverbs 3:5 ESV

2. Know your Identity

IT IS I- this means I am the Great I AM and I am with you!!!

Mark 14:66-72

LETS DECLARE OUR IDENTITY- I AM (a child of God, a friend of
God, chosen, loved, worthy, I am Forgiven, victorious)

3. Step out in Faith

“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of
things not seen.”-Hebrews 11:1 ESV

Each and every one of us need to start stepping out in Faith and know
that God is going to Overcome the challenges in your life, no matter
what it looks like, because Faith is believing even though it doesn’t
look like it!!!!
