                                       MARK 6:45-51
-PRESS ON & THROUGH – it means to continually put some force behind our decisions and declarations
Mark 6:48 – the disciples kept pressing on and moved forward through the storm
-do not allow your past to hinder your forward progress
-continue on in the faith – Col 1:23
-continue on in prayer – Col 4:2
continue on in the Word – John 8:31-32
Let’s look at the Apostle Paul – Philippians 3:12-14
How did Paul make it through the pressures of life?
(1.) PAUL MADE A DECISION AND DECLARATION TO MOVE FORWARD –
vs12,13a – Paul was saying life is not perfect
v12 – Paul was saying he and all believers are not perfect
-we all have issue and dysfunctions to deal with
-keep pressing forward no matter what……
Forget the past – do not allow your past to consume and overwhelm you
ONE THING – Press On – vs12,14 – this is a picture of a runner leaning forward with their arms swinging for momentum as they press forward with all of their might
                        Press Toward – v12
1. Our purpose and calling
2. Heaven
Lay Hold – used twice in vs12-14 – it means to grab ahold The Lord grabbed us and saved us and then we grab ahold of Jesus to pray to find out our purpose
THE WOMAN WITH THE ISSUE OF BLOOD – Mark 5:25-34
(2.) WE HAVE TO KEEP SPEAKING – Mark 5:28
v28 – means to continually think and say
-it is hard to keep thinking, saying and speaking Jesus, the Word and faith during a trial and difficult time
-The woman kept saying that — ITS ON THE WAY…Her breakthrough , healing and her prayers being answered
We must keep speaking:
1. because of all of the noise around us – decrease the amount of noise
2. the enemy is loud – speak louder
***The result of the woman pressing forward & speaking forward:
v 34 – daughter – speaks of the woman being saved
        – well or whole – in all aspects of our lives
-peace – she received a supernatural peace
-faith – this is trusting Jesus
