Mark 2:1-12

                   4 Men, the paralytic and an Encounter with Jesus
Encounter – means a divine collision and to meet with someone
-To have an encounter we need unwavering faith

1. JESUS IS THE OBJECT OF OUR FAITH – Mark 11:22
faith – means to trust in and rely upon Jesus Christ. It is a total dependence in Jesus that can grow and become unwavering faith which is a dynamic certainty in the Lord & His Word.
—there is no one else to trust in
***DO NOT BECOME A USED TO BELIEVER***
        2 Statements
   1. I do not have any faith – Romans 12:3
-every believer has a measure of faith
   2. I do not have enough faith – Romans 10:17.  To increase our faith:
-Read the Word
-Take a step
(1.) UNWAVERING FAITH DOES NOT DENY REALITY BUT CHANGES IT – Mark 2:3,4,5,9,10
-Unwavering faith never denies reality, but changes it
***What should we do?
     a. Tell The Truth  – never lie
*Speaking the truth is not speaking death
     b. Faith Knows – Hebrews 11:1-2
-it is knowing the Lord is going to handle the situation & come through for us
(2.) UNWAVERING FAITH IS BASED ON THE LORD’S TRACK RECORD – Mark 1:16-45
-the 4 men based their faith on the Lord and His Word which are the great works the Lord has done
-we have a track record today concerning everything the Lord has done and we can have faith in His track record…
