Resolve 2019

1. In the face of extreme PRESSURE ADVERSITY, Shadrach Meshach and Abed-nego were RESOLVED not to worship a false god

2. 3:7 So at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the horn flute harp and lyre in symphony with all kinds of music. ALL THE PEOPLE NATIONS AND LANGUAGES fell down and worshiped the gold image which King Nebuchadnezzar set up

3. Few will be resolved

4. 3:16-18 O Nebuchadnezzar we have no need to answer you in this matter. If that is the case our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace and He will deliver us from your hand O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up

A Statement resolved faith.  If we obey God He will deliver us. And if He does not we will go to Heaven

5. Resolved Believers Follow Jesus no matter what life throws at them

6. Matthew 7:13 Enter by the narrow gate for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it

7. Resolve to go down that narrow road

8. The world offers a variety of belief systems there is Relativism Atheism Intellectualism Polytheism Materialism

9. In 2019 I am resolved to worship The King of Kings and Lord of Lords Jesus Christ

10. Resolve in the face of Spiritual adversity

A. Realize there is a flesh issue

B. Be consumed with the things of God

C. Realize there is an enemy

D. Close the door to the enemy in your life

E. Use your authority over the enemy

11. Resolve in the face of financial adversity

A. Having less materially produces more spiritually

B. I will Give to the Lord (even out of my need Luke 21:1-4)

C. Reduce your expectations

D. Be content don’t covet Turn off HG TV

E. We you are content you can spend less than you make

12. Resolve in the face of criticism

A. When there is destructive criticism you must know who you are in Christ

B. There is so much destructive criticism that we don’t want to hear constructive criticism

C. You have to get past the flesh

D. The hardest part of deception is self-deception

E. Listen there may be truth by which we can grow

13. Some New Years Resolutions

A. I will look forward and not backward

C. I will be a part of corporate prayer meetings

D. I will be a part of outreaches and tell my community about Jesus
