I Saw The Lord

“HIGH AND LIFTED UP”

High & Lifted up describes the Lord’s position…….

(1.) THE LORD’S POSITION IS THE HIGHEST AND GREATEST POSITION EVER

High and lifted up – means to be elevated to the highest point
-there is none above the Lord
-He is the greatest person of all time

– do not take the Lord’s name in vain – do not dishonor His name or Him – Ex 20:7

-The name of Jesus and His position is being removed from the church to a point and the culture.
-Do not be politically correct and just use the name and word – God

(2.) THE LORD’S POSITION GIVES HIM POWER AND AUTHORITY – Phil 2:9
-the Lord’s Lord’s position and authority and power gives Him power over every name
-say the name of Jesus more than the name Covid 19 & corona virus

-this same power from the Lord has been given to every believer – Matt 10:1, 7-8 and Luke 10:1,9,17-19

***These are words from our Lord which are worthy of Obedience……..

(3.) THE POSITION OF THE LORD ALLOWS HIM TO SEE EVERYTHING –
High and lifted up – means elevated to the highest point
a. the Lord sees everything we do and everything we think

b. remember that we are seated with the Lord in High places – Eph 2:6
-we can then gain some SITUATIONAL AWARENESS

Situational Awareness – this is evaluating your situation, figuring out the truth and walking in it and then taking appropriate action

-See what is really happening in our nation and admit it – 1 Chronicles 12:32 – UNDERSTAND THE TIMES AND TAKE ACTION

-Isaiah finally saw the Lord and what was happening concerning Israel – Is 6

v9 – This People – the Lord would not even claim His people as His people

v10 – their hearts will remain hard until they come to their senses

v11 – trouble will bring them to their senses

v12 – captivity will come to Israel

v13 – a righteous remnant will rise up and not be affected

***RETURN TO JESUS – Repent and turn to Jesus

***REQUESTS – cry out to the Lord

***REDEMPTION – get people save
