Be Resolved in 2022

Resolve

  1. In the face of extreme PRESSURE ADVERSITY Shadrach Meshach and Abed-nego were RESOLVED not to worship a false god
  1. 3:7 So at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the horn flute harp and lyre in symphony with all kinds of music (when the band started to play) ALL THE PEOPLE NATIONS AND LANGUAGES fell down and worshiped the gold image which King Nebuchadnezzar set up. They all obeyed except: Shadrach Meshach and Abed-nego 
    1. Few will be resolved (In our society few will stand for righteousness and condemn racism, few will call abortion what it actually is = murder, few will say that marriage can only be between a man and a woman. In our society few will NOT be ashamed of the Lord and savior Jesus Christ  
    2. (in verse 15 Nebuchadnezzar gave them a second chance)
    3. (Even though they were Jewish captives in babylonia they had it made)
    4. (Don’t get comfortable we are just passing through)
    5. 3:16-18 O Nebuchadnezzar we have no need to answer you in this matter. If that is the case our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace and He will deliver us from your hand O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up
    6. A Statement resolved faith.  If we obey God He will deliver us. And if He does not we will go to Heaven 
    7. Resolved Believers Follow Jesus no matter what life throws at them
  1. Matthew 7:13 Enter by the narrow gate for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it
    1. Resolve to go down that narrow road 
    2. The world offers a variety of belief systems there is Relativism Atheism Intellectualism Polytheism Buddhism Materialism Secular Humanism: Secular Humanism 
    3. In 2022 I am resolved to worship The King of Kings and Lord of Lords Jesus Christ 
  1. Resolve in the face of Spiritual adversity
    1. Realize there is an enemy
    2. Close the door to the enemy in your life (righteous living)
    3. Use your authority over the enemy
    4. Realize there is a flesh issue
    5. Be consumed with the things of God (and the things of the world will not consume you, be a servant)
  1. Resolve in the face of financial adversity
    1. Having less materially produces more spiritually 
    2. I will Give to the Lord (even out of my need Luke 21:1-4)
    3. Reduce your expectations
    4. Be content don’t covet Turn off HG TV
    5. We you are content you can spend less than you make
  1. Resolve in the face of fear
    1. 2nd Timothy 1:7-8 For God nas not given us a spirit of fear but of power and of love and a sound mind
    2. Acts 1:8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you
    3. Psalm 34:3 Oh magnify the Lord with me And let us exalt His name together
    4. Do not deny your problems but do not magnify them magnify the God of the solution 
    5. Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage do not be afraid nor be dismayed for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go
    6. Hebrews 13:5 I will never leave you nor forsake you
    7. He is sovereign over all and He is in control 
  1. In 2022 (Be it resolved that)
    1. I will look forward and not backward
    2. Luke 9:62 But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”
    3. I will forgive
    4. I will be a positive person of faith
    5. I will humble myself
    6. I will grow in the Lord
    7. I will be a part of corporate prayer meetings
    8. I will be a part of outreaches and tell my community about Jesus
    9. I will exercise faith believe for a miracle 
    10. I will not stop running the race
    11. I will not give up on unsaved family
    12. I will not give up on praying for healing 
    13. I will not quit fighting the good fight
    14. I will not give up on my marriage
  1. 3:25 I see four men loose walking in the midst of the fire and they are not hurt and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God
