Zechariah 6
Vision of the 4 Chariots
v1 – Zechariah lifts his eyes and sees another vision
– This is the last of 8 visions given to Zechariah
MOUNTAINS REPRESENT OBSTACLES – Mark 11:22-23
– We will all have mountains in our lives
– Faith can remove these mountains – only believe
– Do no let the mountains out talk you
– Talk back to them and keep on talking – Acts 18:9
MOUNTAINS also refer to the judgment of God
Bronze – speaks of the judgment of God in the Bible
– This judgment comes upon those who reject Jesus Christ
There are 2 MOUNTAINS that are Bronze in color
1. Mount Zion – was on the inside of the wall of Jerusalem
– This is where Jesus died on the cross
2. Mount of Olives – was on the outside of the wall of Jerusalem
– Where people lived and hated Jesus
4 chariots – speaks of the judgment of God going to the 4 corners of the earth………the chariots are on their way and coming swiftly…
The Wrath and Judgment of God – 1 Thess 5:1-11 (v9) – the believer is not under the wrath of God
– 1 Thess 1:6-10 – the believer is not under the wrath of God to come which is the Tribulation period
vs2-3 – speaks of the 4 chariots
v3 – white horses – refers to Rev 6:1-2
v2 – red horses – refers to Rev 6:3-4
v2 – black horses – refers to Rev 6:5-6
v3 – Spotted horses – refers top Rev 6:7-8
Revelation chapter 6 speaks of the Seal Judgments which occur during the 7 Year Tribulation period…

Revelation 6:1-2 – THE WHITE HORSE – the seal judgments
v1 – the Lamb is Jesus Christ
– Living creatures – are angelic creations of God
– Voice like thunder – speaks of coming judgment
White – not everything white on the outside is white on the inside
– This is the antichrist
– Bow – no arrows and means the antichrist is coming in peace
– Crown – he will conquer through peace and diplomacy
Revelation 6:3-4 – RED HORSE – symbolizes bloodshed and war
– Wars and rumors of war in Matt 24:1-6
Revelation 6:5-6 – BLACK HORSE
– These verses speak of famine, inflation and last days economic problems
Denarius – was a days pay for a worker
3 quarts of barley and 1 quart of wheat for a denarius – it will take one days pay to purchase enough food for one person
– Do no hurt the oil and the wine – this speaks of the rich who will not really be affected by the inflation and rise in prices
Revelation 6:7-8 – THE SPOTTED OR PALE HORSE
John sees 2 things:
1. death riding on the horse
2. hades or hell following behind
-speaks of hell swallowing up those who die without being saved
one quarter of the worlds population is die through animals, war, disease and hunger
vs15-17 – humanity will still not repent. They are hiding from a Lamb…
Zechariah 6:5 – four spirits from heaven – speaks of 4 angels
– God sends angels to pour out His judgments
vs6-7 – the judgment of God covers the entire globe
v7 – eager – eager to get this done so Jesus can return
v8 – Rest – means to satisfy
– The Lord has satisfied His plan and purpose. He can now rest.
