Two Questions

*The rapture has already occurred

*Matthew 24-25 is about the 7 year tribulation period

verse 9 – Who is you?  This is Israel & the Jewish people

             – Who is they?  Many of the nations of the world will hate Israel

     ***This speaks of 2 things:

1. THE 7 YEAR TRIBULATION PERIOD IS FOR ISRAEL AND NOT FOR THE CHURCH

-the Lord saves Israel and the tribulation brings Israel to its knees

Zech 14:1-4 & 12:10 & 13:1

2. THE ALIGNMENT OF THE NATIONS FOR THE RETURN OF JESUS – Ezekiel 38:5-6, 13 and 1 Thessalonians 5:1-8

The Russian Coalition

-Russia & Syria…Persia which is Iran…Ethiopia & Lybia

House of Togarmah – Turkey…Gomer – Eastern European nations

The United States

-merchants of Tarshish v13 – England

-young lions – the United States…Australia…New Zealand

-Sheba and Dedan – Saudi Arabia and Gulf State nations – Bahrain, Kuwait, UAE, Oman and Quatar

vs9b-10 – “FOR MY NAMES SAKE” – this speaks of the Jewish people who get saved during the 7 year tribulation period

-these verses speak about people being saved during the tribulation period

-there will be opposition – betrayal which friends & families against each other

-there is alot of evangelism during the 7 year tribulation period.  It is time to Evangelize…Why evangelize?

1.BECAUSE WE ARE TO BECOME LIKE JESUS – Luke 19:1-10

-Jesus is all about evangelism

2. BECAUSE THERE IS NOT MUCH TIME YET – Matthew 24:12

3.IT IS A COMMAND FROM JESUS – Matthew 28:18-20

-this is fulfilling the Great Commission

4. BECAUSE HELL AND HEAVEN ARE REAL

-we are not here to draw a crowd, but to penetrate one

verse 12  –  LAWLESSNESS WILL INCREASE

-law & order will disintegrate

-Love will grow cold – love for the Lord and other people will diminish because of the conditions of the world around people

*This is not a salvation verse

*This is not the church

*This is the 7 year tribulation period which is tough

*People who make it through the tribulation period will move into the millenium

*We need to walk through difficult times – Ps 23:4 & Is 43:2

verse 14 – The Gospel Of The Kingdom

-this is the gospel of salvation and that Jesus is coming to set up His kingdom on earth

-The Everlasting Gospel – Rev 14:6-7 – this is preaching that God’s judgment is coming

-The gospel of Grace – this is preaching Jesus will save us through grace

The end will come – this is the end of the tribulation period and then Jesus will return
