Second Coming – Zech 14:1-4 – Jesus comes to earth with the church
2. No one knows the date when Jesus is coming – Matthew 24:36
-no human being knows when Jesus is returning
(2.) THE SECOND COMING OF JESUS CHRIST IS A DAY OF ANTICIPATION – Titus 2:11-15
-the return of the Lord is a day of Great Hope
-anticipation means great hope and expectation – Matthew 24:31

What are we expecting? – the glorious appearing of Jesus. This refers to 2 things:
1. it shows that His appearing will be glorious – “The appearing in Glory”
-Matthew 24:27, 28-30
-blessed – means to be prosperous – prosperity comes to earth when Jesus returns
-All of our hope needs to be placed in Jesus and not in humanity…….The problem and issue is a heart and sin issue and only Jesus can solve the problem of sin…….
-You lose hope when you lose FOCUS…..Look to Jesus and keep your eyes on Jesus….that is how you find and keep hope…
