                                      The Lord Who Heals

                                           Exodus 15:26

*Jesus desires for you to be healed……..

(1.) HEALING IS BIBLICAL AND FOR TODAY – Hebrews 13:8 & Malachi 3:6

-healing is found throughout the entire Bible

-do not accept selective submission of what to believe

(2.) THE LORD IS THE SOURCE OF ALL HEALING – EXODUS 15:26

-No one can heal except Jesus Christ

-The Lord can use many ways to bring healing to people

-The Lord heals the entire person

-The greatest healing is salvation

(3.) FAITH IS INCLUDED FOR HEALING TO OCCUR – Matthew 9:18-31

-the ruler…the woman…the blind men

-all 3 people knew the Lord would heal them – Faith is Knowing

-faith is based on a promise – Exodus 15:16

-it is not based on feeling, what you see or what report you are given

(4.) NEVER ALLOW INTERRUPTIONS TO ROB YOU OF YOUR HEALING – Matthew 9:18-22

            1. The Timing Of The Lord

     a. The Lord can heal things that are dieing

     b. God’s delays are not His denials

     c. The timing of the Lord is always perfect

-healed immediately or over time

-while waiting on your healing:

        1. know you are receiving healing every time you receive prayer

        2. Keep speaking healing and faith and life…Keep believing

-the 2 blind men kept crying out to the Lord – Matt 9:27-28

-the ruler – Mk 5:35-36

          2. The second interruption are other people around you – Matt 9:23-25 amd Mark 5:37

-Jesus only took 3 disciples with Him into this situation

-Kick out those who are filled with doubt and unbelief

          3. Our Own Issues can be an interruption

Exodus 15:22-26

bitter – means to be sour…discontent…unpleasant…disagreeable & harsh

-it usually stems from thinking you have been treated unfairly

-bitterness and other issues can stop you from being healed

v25 – the tree represents the cross which can remove all bitterness
