THE HANDWRITING ON THE WALL
DANIEL 5:5-9, 22-31 – HANDS COME OUT AND BEGIN TO WRITE ON A WALL
-King Belshazzar threw a drinking party/worshipped false gods
-He ruled over Babylon/the Medo-Persian empire took over Baylon
The Handwriting is on the Wall in 3 ways for the United States of America:
(1.) WE NEED TO REALIZE THAT THERE IS AN ENEMY OUT THERE – Eph 6:10-18
—The enemy has one main goal right now:
TO GET US TO CHANGE OUR FOCUS
-do not make your battle & fight personal – you focus on people and earthly events
-refocus on to Jesus and who the real enemy is – the devil and demon forces
-the enemy is attempting to destroy our nation and change it…
REMEMBER 2 THINGS:
1. Use your time and energy on the real enemy
2. Do not lose your fight – practical and spiritual
-do not allow the enemy to steal anything from you – John 10:10
-do not allow the enemy to steal your identity & your Bible declaration
(2.) WE NEED TO REALIZE THE LORD IS IN THE MOVING BUSINESS –
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
-there are moving companies across our nation
-the Lord is in the moving business
EX#1 – The Lord moved Noah and his family on to a boat
EX#2 – the Lord moved Abraham & His family from idolatry and sin
EX#3 – The Lord moved Israel out of Egypt & into the promised land
EX#4 – The Lord moved people from a building to the marketplace in Acts chapter 2
EX#5 – The Lord moved people out of sin & into freedom through the cross
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 – the lord is going to move all believers from earth to heaven – The Rapture…
(3.) IT IS TIME FOR THE RESTRAINERS TO START RESTRAINING –
2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 (vs6-7)
v2 – troubled – means to be alarmed/frightened/shocked/agitated
*******The entire body of Christ is the restraining force today – v6
restrain – means to hold and push something back
-this will only happen through crying out prayer
*******The restraining force is removed from the Earth – v7
-this is the rapture of the church
-then the Lord begins to deal directly with Israel again so they can be saved….
