Verse 7 – We are fighting against principalities and powers that rule over governments

              – The body of Christ must pray

              – Daniel 10:9-13, 20

Verses 8-9 – The enemy can never prevail against us unless we allow him to do so

                    -The enemy has no more access to heaven

Verse 10 – He is our accuser – Means to be against

                – Devil means slanderer

Verse 11 – To defeat the enemy

                – Pull down every accusing thought and make constant declarations of who we are in Christ

                – Our flaws do not change our position in Christ

                – Love their lives to death – The believers during this time did not care about their own lives, even to the point of death

Verses 12-17 – Speaks about two groups of people

1. Those in heaven

2. Those on earth

– They made it into heaven through Jesus

– The Lord created heaven for everyone

– The believers are rejoicing and praising

                a. Their praise is always – Ephesians 5:20 – For what He is doing in us

                b. Their praise is focused on Jesus – v10

                c. Their praise is loud at times – v10

– Luke 19:40 and Mark 10:45-50

Woe –  Verse 12 – A term of warning and judgment

Wrath – Means to breathe hard/signifies fierceness

Verse 13 – Satan creates a wave of antisemitism across the globe

– Reconciliation – Means to change thoroughly from one condition to another – Ephesians 2:13-18

Verse 14 – The Lord intervenes for Israel to protect them and provide for them

Verses 15-17 –

     Verse 15 – This refers to the armies of the world who fight against Israel

     Verse 16 – Countries arrive to help Israel

     Verse 17 – The antichrist hunts down Jewish believers to kill them

Verse 1 – The sea represents humanity

              – The beast is the antichrist and is a human being

– Anti – Means to be against

– Heads, crowns, and horns represent a group of nations the antichrist will rule over

– Blasphemous name – a name against Jesus & Christianity

Verse 2 – The antichrist will be demon-possessed and influenced and dominated

Leopard – refers to speed

Bear – refers to power & strength

Lion – refers to crushing and tearing apart

Verse 3 – Either a nation rises up, or this is real

Verse 4 – Satan worship happens.

              – Satan has always wanted to be worshipped

              – Isaiah 14:12-14 and 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4

Verses 5-6 – For three and  a half years the antichrist speaks

– Charisma vs Character

– Style vs Substance

– Popularity vs Policy (beliefs)

– Watch out who you let influence you – Verse 6

Verse 7 – This could be the United Nations or an organization like it

– This is an all-out elimination of believers

Verses 8-9 – The whole world worships the beast except for believers

– This happens because of a spirit of delusion and deception upon the earth

Verse 10 – The Bible principle of reaping and sowing works for every person
