Prayer

1 JOHN 5:14-15
-Prayer according to the will of God opens things up

-Colossians 4:3

-Mark 2:1-12 – when we pray, heaven opens and things come through. Mark 2 represents prayer and receiving our breakthrough (v4 – NKJV)

Prayer Points:
1. 4 men represent prayer gatherings
2. Prayer is work – the 4 men dug up the roof
3. Heaven opens up and breakthroughs come
-Prayer & Jesus are the foundation of the church
-We have a promise – 2 Chronicles 7:14

Heaven opens up and Jesus Christ comes through – Revelation 19:11-16

Last Days Statements:
1. No one knows when the return of the Lord will take place – Matt 24:36
2. Signs point to the fact that Jesus is coming back soon
***The hatred of Israel – Matthew 24:9

***A change of currency – Rev 13:17

***Peace – 1 Thess 5:3 & Rev 6:1-5

***Fast travel and an increase of knowledge – Daniel 12:4

2 Thessalonians 2:1-10 – prayer is a force of resistance
-the church is a reaping force – the harvest
-the church is a revealing force – truth vs deception and delusion
-the church is a force of resistance – through prayer & intercession

verse 2 – the second coming of Jesus & the rapture are both mentioned

shaken & troubled – like a ship on the sea during a storm/deeply upset
The Thessalonians thought they were left behind

-Falling Away – this is people saying no to Jesus. Less & less people will want to follow Jesus

vs5-8 – Restrain – means to hold something back and down

Peace – 1 Thess 5:1-10 and Rev 6:1-6
