Sermon Notes 8/15 – MARK 6:45-52

-The Wind Was Against The Disciples – v48

1. ALL BELIEVERS WILL FACE A WINDY DAY – v48

-Jesus never guaranteed us a windy day – please adjust your thinking

-Acts 14:21-22 and 1 Peter 4:12-13

-A windy day can come against us out of nowhere

            Jesus Thoughts & What We Can Learn When The Wind Is Against Us:

     ***The Lord Has Led Us To This Place – v45

-the Lord is in charge of our lives:  to do a work in our lives and to believe in His supernatural power – vs48-51

         WE NEED TO BELIEVE WHEN THINGS ARE UNBELIEVABLE BECAUSE

                                    WE HAVE AN UNBELIEVABLE JESUS

Mark 6:52 – the disciples forgot what jesus had down for Him and minimized His power in their minds

***Do not forget quickly what Jesus has done for you – Psalms 77:11-15a

       ***The Lord’s Pace and Plan Are Not Ours To Decide – Galatians 6:9

-Completely surrender to the Lord

-THERE IS NO PLACE YOU CAN GO WHERE GOD IS NOT

-Surrender your impatience and develop your patience – Gal you 5:16-25

-ARE WE THERE YET?  Is this trial over yet???

-It is not our turn – we must learn to wait for our breakthrough – Isaiah 40:31

     ***Wait is an action word – Learn how to wait
