                                               ACTS 28:1-6
***Trials and hardships will affect everyone
***Between Acts 21 & 28 – Paul went through a series of trials and difficulties, but he shook off being consumed by his trials…and the fear & anxiety that comes along with them
HOW CAN WE SHAKE THE PRESSURES OF LIFE?
(1.) DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED BY YOUR INABILITIES, BUT LEAN ON THE
               LORDS’ ABILITIES
-this means we need to lean on the Lord’s promises and power
                            A. THE PROMISES OF GOD
—Remind the Lord of His Promises
Example #1 — Paul – 2 Timothy 4:6-8
Example #2 — Jehosophat  – 2 Chronicles 20:7-9
Example #3 — believers today need to remind the Lord of His promises
                            B. THE POWER OF GOD
-Lean on the power and ability of the Lord –
-John 15:5
-The Lord is saying, “IT’S NOT WHAT WE CAN DO, BUT IT’S WHAT THE LORD CAN DO” that matters…….
Jehosophat and Judah – 2 Chronicles 20:12, 20-24 – the Lord turned the enemies of Israel against each other
Paul – Acts 28:3-6 – the Lord delivered Paul from a poisonous snake
THE POWER OF THE GRACE OF GOD
PAUL – 2 CORINTHIANS 12:1-10
GRACE  – this is the power, love, life, strength and righteousness given to every believer by unmerited favor
James 1:2 – various trials – means many colored trials – trials of all kinds
1 Peter 4:10 – manifold grace – means many colors of grace
*** There is grace to match, handle and conquer any trial we have
-So shake off your trial and walk in the power and favor and strength of the Lord………
