Sermon Notes 6/30 – Let Freedom Ring

2 Kings 4: 38-41

“Let freedom ring”

Defined: The power and the right to act and speak as one wants without hindrance or restraint. This statement is pertaining to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness that should be spread across the Earth and allowed to flourish.

2 principles we can live by that will let freedom ring

2 Kings 4:38-41

#1- KNOW the truth

These men had good taste buds so they knew when something wasn’t right.

When you know the voice of God, you will also know when it’s NOT Him speaking.

2 Kings 5:1-5

#2- SHARE the truth

Be a voice when it’s EASY

Be a voice when it’s UNCOMFORTABLE

Be a voice when it’s INCONVENIENT

“If my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land”

2 Chronicles 7:14
