Sermon Notes 6/28 – Let Freedom Ring
LET FREEDOM RING
There are three things our nation needs to find
1. WE MUST FIND JESUS – Matthew 16:18
-Our nation needs Jesus
-Our nation was founded on Jesus and the Bible
-The United States has strayed away from the Lord
-We have to worship the right Jesus, who is God
– 2 Corinthians 11:3-4, 13-15 & Philippians 2:5-11
2. WE MUST FIND THE WORD OF GOD – 2 Kings 22:1-6
-Israel had fallen away from the Lord and His Word
-King Josiah and the men around him found the Word in the temple
-King Josiah and the people made a vow to follow the Lord and His Word
-The American church must find the Bible and preach all of it
3. WE NEED TO FIND PRAYER – 2 Chronicles 7:14-15
-Prayer reveals humility, dependence on the Lord, and a decrease in self-importance
If we pray 3 things will happen:
-The Lord will hear from heaven
-The Lord will forgive our sins
-The Lord will heal the land
We have a prayer motivator
-The prayer Motivator is the fact that God is Able – Ephesians 3:20
-God is able means to have the power to do something
-God is able means to have great strength
-God can make all things possible
