                                      EVEN IF

Revelation 1:9  – John the Apostle was an EVEN If Christ follower

EVEN IF believers are Christ followers who will follow Jesus NO MATTER WHAT…

        EVEN IF BELIEVERS NEVER ALLOW THEIR SITUATION TO

                   CHANGE THE WAY THEY VIEW THE LORD

Daniel 3:10-18 – the fiery furnace trial did not change the mind of the 3 men

The 3 men understood that the Lord NEVER CHANGES

It is impossible for the Lord to change

            So what can we do when we end up in a fiery furnace…

1. REALIZE HARD TIMES ARE A PART OF CHRISTIANITY – Acts 14:21-22

and Matthew 5:45

-no one is exempt from going through trials – earth is not heaven

     2 POINTS

1. Fiery Furnace experiences can produce in us a distorted view of the Lord

2. Fiery furnaces can burn out of us  our distorted views of God

2. RESIST DEMONIC FORCES – John 8:44 & 1 Peter 5:8-9

-demons lie

-the Lord never changes – truth

-the enemy wants us to doubt our faith – doubt means to

-there is good doubt and bad doubt

3. DROP YOUR ANCHOR – Zechariah 8:9,13

-Let your hands be strong – means to take a firm hold on something

-grab ahold of the Word and know that the Lord never changes

4. WE FOLLOW AN INVISIBLE GOD – Isaiah 43:2 & Psalm 23:4

-We cannot see the trinity, but can see them with eyes of faith

-something is always happening by faith….

-faith is a walk – things take time to happen

5. SURRENDER – John 12:28-30

-surrender to the will and desire of the Lord

-surrender to only what the Lord wants

-Glorify and honor the Lord
