                                     The Belt of Truth

                                      Ephesians 6:14

v13 – HAVING DONE ALL

-The Lord has done everything to defeat the enemy

-The believer needs to do everything to defeat the enemy

-Truth is around our waist which means it is the foundation and center of our lives

JESUS CHRIST IS TRUTH – John 14:1-6

-every piece of the armor points to Jesus Christ

-use the name Jesus

-Jesus & Christianity is not one option out of many options

                        TRUTH BY DEFINITION EXCLUDES

                        JESUS CHRIST IS TRUTH

THE WORD OF GOD IS TRUTH – John 8:31-32

Truth – truth is Gods’ thoughts and opinions on any matter.  Truth is what the Bible says and what God says

WHATEVER THE LORD SAYS IS RIGHT AND TRUTH

The Bible is absolute truth that was written by God – 2 Peter 1:20-21

-Revelation 10:9-10 ——- the Word is convicting & encouraging at the same time

The Bible is not positive or negative, but TRUTH…

Draw a line in the sand and do not move the line.  Stand on the Word and do not compromise

Jude 3 – CONTEND FOR THE FAITH

-The purity of the Bible is being attacked.  We must defend and contend for the faith…

Necessary & Needful – means to have a sense of urgency

Exhort – means to beg, plead or encourage

Earnestly Contend – fight for the truth/wrestle with deception and delusion

-this is a wrestling term where the false is trying to wrestle truth to the ground and defeat it

Faith – this is not faith for a miracle, but for the core beliefs of Christianity

 – trying to cancel Christianity

Once delivered – means once and for all/finished and complete

-something that needs nothing added to it

Delivered – means to be handed down from God to man

SPEAK THE TRUTH – Ephesians 415

-speak truth about your situation and then speak the truth of the Word of God
