Revelation Chapter 6

Revelation 5 – takes place in heaven
Verses 1-5 – this is the title deed to the earth
– Given over to satan when man sinned – John 12:31
– Only Jesus takes it back through redemption and His return – Is 59:9-17

The Incarnation – God came down to earth in the form of man, Jesus Christ, to redeem humanity. The Lord’s redemption includes His judgment

Revelation 5:1, 5 – the scroll is sealed with 7 seals – the 7 seal judgments

Revelation 4- 22 is all about the future, and the church is gone
Revelation 6 takes place in the tribulation period – Jeremiah 30:7 – it is to save Israel

The 7-year tribulation is not for the church – 1 Thess 1:10 & 5:9

Revelation 6:1
The Lamb – this is Jesus Christ, and means a gentle, tender, soft pet lamb
Romans 2:4

The Lamb opens things and Is The God of the NOW
Now – means it is time…. it is time for the tribulation to start……

4 Living Beings – this is an angelic creation of God
-The voice of the Lord is loud and clear

Come and see – a command and a call for the rider on the white horse to come forward

SEAL #1 -THE WHITE HORSE – REVELATION 6:1-2

Verse 2 – this is the antichrist
NOT EVERYTHING WHITE ON THE OUTSIDE IS PURE ON THE INSIDE
Matthew 23:25-28
-The antichrist is a counterfeiter – Exodus 7:8-13

A counterfeit Peace – the antichrist conquers mainly through peace bow – there are no arrows
A white horse represents peace

Crown – the antichrist will rule over a group of nations
-he will produce a false peace that will not last – 1 Thess 5:3

How do we overcome the counterfeit?
Know the real, Know Jesus, Know the Bible……. 2 Corinthians 11:3-4, 13-15
