Sermon Notes 4/20 – Jesus Is Alive!

How do we know Jesus is Alive?

***The Bible declares Jesus is Alive – Luke 24:1-6a

***The testimonies of people

***We cant find the body of Jesus – Matthew 28:1-8 (v6)

                     “COME AND SEE” – v6

(1.) The Resurrection of Jesus Christ brings about complete change – John 11:1,17-27 and 38-44

-There is Resurrection Power that changes things

-Get ready for some change

-The Lord will remove the stink out of your life

(2.) Because Jesus has risen from the dead, we can have confidence in all of His promises – Matt 17:22-23 & John 2:19

-Jesus keeps His word

Two Huge Promises:

1. I am coming back again – John 14:1-3

2. I will forgive you – 1 Cor 15:12-22 (v17)

-The voice of the Lord says we are forgiven

-Jesus forgives all of our sins – Psalm 103:1-5

-The Voice of the crowd says we are forgiven – Hebrews 12:1-3
