                           It’s Time For A Breakthrough

Breakthrough – it speaks of progress, momentum, warfare and winning…tearing down walls……advancing and overcoming the enemy

Mark 2:1-2 – refers to a paralytic who is saved and healed

         ***Mark 2 – gives 5 characteristics every church must practice for there to be

                              renewal in the United States of America

PRINCIPLE #1 – We need Jesus and His Presence to be in the House – Mark 2:1

-this is the glory and presence and manifest presence of Jesus being with the church

1.) THE PRESENCE OF GOD IS EVERYWHERE – Psalm 139:7-10

-Omnipresence

-Recognize His presence

            a. Knowing the Lord is with us everywhere keeps me feeling good – Psalm 16:11

            b. Knowing the Lord is with me helps to keep me in line – 2 Timothy 4:16-17

-the Lord stands with us at all times..

            c. Knowing the Lord is with us keeps us from going by our feelings – Jere 20:11

PRINCIPLE #2 – WE NEED THE WORD OF GOD – Mark 2:2

-preached – means to talk, proclaim, announce & speak

-Word – means all of the Word – no selective preaching

-the Word is God breathed – 2 Peter 1:20-21

***Be cautious in using the word Positive – John 8:31-32 – the Word is truth

The Word of God produces healing – Proverbs 4:20-22

-the paralytic was healed by Jesus and His Word

-we can be healed by:

         ***Reading the Word of God – Romans 10:17

         ***Reading healing scriptures

         ***Standing on the Word of God – refuse to be moved

Proverbs 4:20-22 – says that we must find the Word of God

2 Kings 22:12,8-13 – Josiah found the Word of God hidden in the temple

—Josiah found out that God’s Word is enough – this is the Sufficiency of Scripture

—Israel repented and started to follow the Word of God
