Nail it down: The Bible was written by God – 1 Peter 1:12

WHEN WE OPEN OPEN OUR BIBLE, GOD OPENS HIS MOUTH

Ministering – the Word ministers to every need

Reported – means to dispatch

          -The Holy Spirit was dispatched from heaven to earth to breathe on the authors of the Bible

          -All believers are dispatched to preach the gospel to all people

        JESUS BELIEVED IN DIVINE DOCTRINE AND DIRTY FEET

Preach – means to announce good news

The Word  -v23 – logos – the written Word

                  -v25 – Rhema – an alive Word

     2 Timothy 3:16-17

Inspiration – refers to a dynamic movement of air that is blown on us by the Holy Spirit

The Bible just isn’t a book about God.  It contains His breath, life and power…

The Bible is Profitable – means to be beneficial and useful

a. FOR DOCTRINE – means teaching – doctrine is the foundation for what we believe

b. FOR CHANGE – A BIBLE THAT IS FALLING APART USUALLY BELONGS TO SOMEONE WHO ISN’T

c. change is seen in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11

             -our minds change and we come to our senses – Mark 5:1-15

     1 Peter 1:22-25

All Scripture is God Breathed:

*******Because it saves us – our souls are purified – we are clean

Through Obedience – is submission to all of the Word

*******Because it is truth – THE TRUTH..

-Truth by definition excludes – John 14:6

*******Because it is alive and endures – Hebrews 4:12 & 1 Peter 1:23-25

-alive means the Word is always moving

-enduring – the Bible cannot be stopped…it is always effective and stays active

The Bible is the only Word to receive and believe – Galatians 1:6-10 and Second Corinthians 11:4, 13-15
