LUKE 1:26-38
1. NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD AS WE PLACE OUR FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST – Luke 1:38
-Christmas is all about Jesus and His birth
-Who is this Jesus?
a. v32 – Jesus is great – it means extraordinary…magnificent…
***Christmas and the birth of Jesus is a supernatural act of the Holy Spirit
b. Jesus is the Son of the Highest – LUKE 1:32
***In the NT His name is called Jesus – Matthew 1:21
—Philippians 2:5-11
The name of Jesus is above all other names
***In the OT His name is El Elyon – it means the Most High God
***Since our God is the most High God:
—He can see everyones future
—Nothing can be hidden
2. NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD AS WE PLACE OUR FAITH IN THE PROMISES OF GOD – Luke 1:31, 37-38
Mary entered into a season of yes
***2 Corinthians 1:20 -the Lord says yes to His promises and will
Mary declared that it would just be a matter of time
-Mary would have to wait to receive her breakthrough
Mary developed a miracle mentality – Luke 1:30-31, 35
-she believed the Lord could do anything
Never give the devil a seat at the table
