The Glory of the Lord

                                            Great Glory
                                          Psalm 138:4-6
***The glory of God – is the weight of the Lord’s presence that be felt and seen
***The glory of God can increase as we spend time with Jesus every day and great glory is produced
                                   GREAT GLORY PRODUCES GREAT FAITH
                                                              Luke 1:26-38
***Mary the mother of Jesus is someone who had great faith……
(1.) GREAT FAITH IS IN A GREAT GOD – vs31-33
***faith – means to depend upon someone fully/ to totally rely upon
***Vs31-35 – Jesus – the Savior of the world
                   – Great – Jesus does great things & is above all other gods
                   – King – Jesus is coming back to rule the universe
                   – Son of God – (v35) – He is God
***Since Jesus is the one true and living God then v37 is correct…………..”WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE”
***And He becomes the “ALWAYS GOD”……………..

-Believe the Word and the Lords’ promises and you will receive a good result
                     a. Great Faith Excels @ Waiting
***we normally have to wait to receive our breakthroughs
***while waiting do not walk in unbelief – Mark 6:1-6
***Mary waited well and received the blessings from the Lord
                     b. Great Faith Doesn’t Demand The Lord Do Something A Certain Way –
Luke 1:34 & Matthew 17:25-27
***Luke 1:34 – Mary was saying that she knew the Lord would do it, but wondered how He was going to do it….
***The Lord will use at times unpredictable ways to get the job done
                      c. Great Faith Doesn’t Have To See Or Feel Anything Happening To Be Able To Believe That Something Is Happening – 2 Corinthians 5:7
-Mary had a promise from the Lord and initially she did not see anything happening or feel any difference at all
-1 Sam 16:1, 16-18 – David was anointed king of Israel by Samuel, but he did not see anything different.
-15 years later David took the throne
-Samuel died before David took the throne
