Sermon Notes 11/3 – The Holy Spirit

***The Holy Spirit points to Jesus and His return

***Divine Certainty is a must in the time in which we are living

(1.) THE HOLY SPIRIT CREATES AN INTERNAL REVOLUTION THAT RESULTS IN AN EXTERNAL REVOLUTION – John 16:8-11

             a. INTERNAL REVOLUTION – this is the Holy Spirit being in us

-the Holy Spirit convicts us – John 16:8-11

-the Holy Spirit points us to Jesus who saves us – Titus 3:1-8

-believers are temples of the Holy Spirit – 1 Cor 3:16

-we are moved into the kingdom of God – Col 1:13-14

-we receive all of God’s spiritual blessings – Eph 1:3

***We keep the internal revolution going by having SE’s – SUPERNATURAL ENCOUNTERS WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT

-SUPERNATURAL ENCOUNTERS with the Holy Spirit are daily times with Jesus, are for every believer, increase the presence of the Lord in your life and bring heaven to earth

-Believers determine their own hunger level

               b. EXTERNAL REVOLUTION – the result of an internal revolution is that an external revolution takes place

-It’s time to go fishing – Matthew 4:19

-It’s time to love the lost

-Matt 9:36/14:14/15:32/20:34

-We must understand eternity – 2 Peter 3:9

-People are listening when we share the gospel with them – Is 55:11 & 1 Cor 3

-The Witnessing War

1 Peter 3:15 – Verbal            1 Peter 2:12 – Behavior

-The 9 spirituals – 1 Cor 12:8-11 – are mainly for outside of the church.

-The Holy Spirit is all about the Great Commission

-Example – Acts 3:1-8 – the gift of miracles, healings and faith operated

          Every Supernatural Encounter of the Holy Spirit Includes:

1. Empowerment  – this is power & an awakening of the Holy Spirit in every area of our lives

2. Change – A spiritual encounter changes our lives

3. Impact – this is impacting others to reach out and win people to Jesus
