V8 – God is love and can only be love

-He is the always God

-He never changes – Hebrews 13:8

1 John 4:1-6  – The Bible is doctrine and teaching – God’s love is a Bible doctrine

-stand on the Bible and the doctrines of the Bible which includes God’s love

1 John 4:1 – test the spirits to see what is from the Lord and not from the Lord

-many things will try to move us away from the doctrine of God’s love

Life Events…..Feelings and The flesh……and the enemy

-the word emotion means to move away

The Lord wants us to love one another – John 13:34-35/1 John 3:16-18

The love of God is an action – don’t just talk it.  Take action and show it

Jesus took action – 1 John 4:9-10

The love of God is a choice – 1 John 4:7-11

-choose to accept God’s love for you

-choose to love people
