-we are sanctified and set apart by the Lord at salvation
-set apart from the world system, devil and sin
***THERE ARE 3 WAYS TO CONTINUE TO BE SET APART
1. THE WORD DECLARES – John 8:31-32
-reading and practicing the Word of God continues to separate us to be like Jesus
2. BELIEVERS CORRECT – Exodus 18:1,7,13-24
-correction is from the Word, is gentle and is present to help us to grow
-Jethro corrected Moses in the area of leadership
-Moses listened – the Lord spoke through Jethro
3. THE HOLY SPIRIT CONVICTS = 1 John 2:27
-The Holy Spirit convicts by talking to us and it is all truth – All conviction is right nd truth – and therefore do not justify why you are doing something wrong
conviction – is godly and joyful correction whose aim is to lift us up, encourage us    and convincing us to do what is right and not do what is wrong
Holy Spirit conviction continues to separate us from the world, sin and the enemy
1. Never refuse any conviction from the Holy Spirit – Hebrews 12:25-26
-Cooperate with the Holy Spirit – the Spirit of truth
2. Remember – we can refuse the conviction, but we cannot refuse the consequences
