Haggai 2:6-9

***The glory of the rebuilt temple will be greater and stronger than the glory of the first temple
                                        THE GLORY OF GOD
(1) THE GLORY OF GOD IS THE PRESENCE OF GOD
glory – means the weight of the Lord’s presence
-you can feel it, sense it and see its effects
-Luke 4:18-19 – the glory of God produces reactions and resistance
                3 LEVELS OF GOD’S PRESENCE
1. THERE IS THEOLOGICAL PRESENCE
-this is based on the Bible and knowing God is everywhere
2. THE MANIFEST PRESENCE OF THE LORD – 2 Chronicles 7:1-3
-this is the presence of God yOU can see, feel and sense
3. THE HEAVENLY PRESENCE OF THE LORD
-This is the full and complete presence of the Lord in heaven
-Eph 4:30
(2) WE ARE ENTERING INTO A TIME OF ACCELERATION WHERE MORE WILL OCCUR – Luke 21:25-28
-the glory of God will grow stronger and greater in the last days
-we do not have alot of time left – Jesus us coming back – Luke 21:25-28
-we will see the results of the manifest presence of the Lord in the last days
-John 2:1-11 (v11)
-Matthew 11:1-5
(3) THE GLORY OF GOD RESTS ON THE BELIEVER – Isaiah 61:1-3
        a. to anoint us to do something
-anything the Lord has asked us to do
        b. to change the believer – divine collisions
        c. to change others – Luke 19:1-10
-the glory of God is for us and others
***To continue to see the glory of God manifest in our lives and ministries,  2 things must be present:
1. PRAYER – Acts 1:14 and Acts 2:4,6,11
-continued prayer and praying in tongues – personally and corporately
2. UNITY – Acts 1:14 and Acts 2:1
Acts 1:14 – they all had one mind
Acts 2:1 – they were all together
***They were unified in their cause – the Great Commission
***They were unified on the main doctrines of the faith
***They were unified on vision
