The glory of God – means the weight of God’s presence
-it is something you can feel, sense and see its effects
                            – it refers to the splendor, majesty, power and might of the Lord
                            – all praise belongs to the Lord because He created us
(1) GOD CREATED US FOR HIS GLORY – Isaiah 43:7
-this refers to 4 things:
                   1. THE LORD’S GLORY AND PRESENCE ARE IN US – 1 John 2:18-27
-the day we were saved, we received the Holy Spirit, His presence and glory
-all born again believers are connected
-this helps us to discern right from wrong – 1 John 2:18-27 (v27) & 1 John 4:1-3
                  2. THE LORD’S GLORY AND PRESENCE ARE ON US TO DO SOMETHING
-Whatever the Lord desires us to do, His glory is there for us to accomplish it
                  3. THE GLORY OF GOD IS IN AND ON THE BELIEVER TO CHANGE THEM – Isaiah 61:1-3
-divine collisions
-when we are saved, living for Jesus, spending time with Him
-Acts 9:1-22 – Paul was changed forever—divine collisions are forever changes
                 4. THE GLORY AND PRESENCE OF GOD ARE IN AND ON THE BELIEVER TO CHANGE OTHERS – Luke 19:1-10
-the glory of God changes us and others at the same time
Haggai 2:10 – a Word from the Lord
v11 – the law – this is the Torah or Pentateuch – the first 5 books of the OT
v12 – Question #1 – something holy being carried and touching something else does not make the item that was touched holy…….
-if the priest carries food in a napkin or in their clothes

consider – means to lay it to heart…consider this with your whole heart…….
(1) CONSIDER YOUR PAST – vs16-17
disobedience and not following the Lord results in being chastised by Jesus.  You do not receive the full blessings or any blessings from the Lord…
-We need to learn from our pasts
(2) CONSIDER THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD – VS15-19
-The Lord never left Israel even when they were away from Him
-the Lord being with us does not mean there will not be any consequences because of our disobedience to Him and His Word
(3) CONSIDER SOME THINGS TAKE A LONG TIME
-Many people want everything quickly, but many things take a long time to receive
-it took Israel 14-16 years to start to rebuild the temple after returning from captivity
(4) CONSIDER THE FUTURE – v15
“From this day Forward”
v19 – I WILL BLESS YOU
v19 – the seed is still in the barn and has not been planted.  Plant it now even though it is not the right time to do so, but I will bless it and grow it because you are right with me…
v2- the second Word from the Lord
-this is a promise – “I WILL”
v21 – The Lord will shake everything………..
v22 – all human kingdoms will end and God’s kingdom will be set up and rule –
-Daniel 2:44
-all the armies of the world will be defeated – Rev 19:17-21
