BELIEVERS CAN FORM CLOUDS
-the glory of God can form and rest on a believer. How can a believer form a glory cloud?
***THROUGH PRAISE AND WORSHIP – 2 Chronicles 5:1-7, 11-14
—For praise and worship to bring in the glory of God:
1. v1 – you need a house of worship to assemble together
-Solomon built a temple to worship the Lord
-a building is empty without the presence of the being there
2. v5 – You need the presence of the Lord
-the ark represents the presence of the Lord
3. v6 – You need sacrifices
sacrifice – means a killing
***We must kill our ego, position, reputation, the flesh, our apathy if we really want to let go and truly and sincerely worship the Lord
***vs11-14 – the priests – representing all born again believers in the NT – all praised the Lord.
-singing…declaring… instruments…v13 – they were heard….
PRAISE AND WORSHIP STATEMENTS
(1.) GOD IS THE SAME WHETHER YOU PRAISE HIM OR NOT – Heb 13:8
-God is never changed by our praise and worship or our lack of it
-we praise the Lord because it affects us as believers. It helps us to form a cloud of glory in and on and around our lives…
(2.) HOW WE PRAISE THE LORD DEPENDS ON HOW WELL WE KNOW THE ONE WE PRAISE – John 15
-the depth of our relationship with Jesus determines our worship
-as we spend time with Jesus we form a cloud of glory upon our lives
-when we attend church or go anywhere then we are always ready to praise the Lord
