EPHESIANS 4:4-16

WALK IN UNITY

WE KEEP UNITY BY WHAT WE BELIEVE – vs 4-I6

unity – means one…to be unanimous…have one heart, mind and vision…to agree

We must all agree unanimously that all scriptures are inspired by God – 2 Tim 3:16-17

-God wrote the Bible

-inspired – means God breathed

***it is a dynamic movement of ir that is supernatural and powerful

***it includes the word fragrance

God breathed on those who wrote the Bible with His words and nature and breathes on us with His power and nature as we read the Bible

WE NEED A REVIVAL OF THE BIBLE…

All – every scripture is God breathed and alive and changes people

The Bible is profitable for doctrine –

profitable – means it is mandatory…essential and an absolute requirement

What the Bible says we need to believe – Ephesians 4:4-6

v4 – one body – this includes everyone who is born again. This is the church

v4 – one Spirit – this is the Holy Spirit

v4 – one hope – this is the return of Jesus Christ

v5 – one Lord – this is Jesus Christ

v5 – one faith – there is only one way to be saved and that is through Jesus

v5 – one baptism – this is being placed into the body of Christ at salvation. We are the church

v6 – one God – Christianity believe there is one God – not in many gods

Enemy forces attacking Bible doctrine will rise up in the last days…

1 Timothy 4:1

2 Timothy 4:1-5

v2 – in and out of season – is a military term meaning to hold your post

v3 – the time will come – we are now living in this time

endure – will not tolerate or put up with

lusts – will want what they want and what goes along with the culture

fables are fantasies

***We need cupbearers in the last days – Eph 4:11-15 (v14) and Neh 1:11 & 2:1

Cupbearers – tasted the kings food and drink so he wouldn’t be poisoned

We need cupbearers today to only eat and teach healthy and sound doctrine to eliminate poison from the body of Christ

-The cupbearer tasted food – represents the Word of God

-The cupbearer tasted wine – represents the Holy Spirit
