(1) Get right with your Heavenly Father
a. Romans 8:15 For you have not received a SPIRIT OF SLAVERY leading to fear again but you have received a spirit of ADOPTION as SONS by which we cry out ABBA FATHER

c. you are ADOPTED into His family
d. You are a SON or a DAUGHTER
e. You are positionally sanctified when you are saved
f. You are being progressively sanctified here and now
g. Through this divine adoption you have a new spirit
h. At the cross generational curses were broken
i. You are equipped to defeat the flesh and fulfill God’s Purpose
j. You are led by the Holy Spirit of God
k. Keep perspective if your heavenly father has accepted you and is pleased with you then rest in that
l. ABBA = Through this adoption he is personally my Heavenly Father
m. Do not project the feelings you have for your earthly father toward your heavenly father

a. Exodus 20:12 Honor your father and mother that you days may be prolonged in the land which the Lord your God gives you
b. The principle of giving honor and of forgiveness are very similar

d. No matter what happened to you either good or bad at some point your life became your responsibility
