Pre-Marriage Counseling
In view of the seriousness of this commitment you are considering and the importance of the material to be covered, couples must allow ample time before marriage to complete counseling comfortably.
The Church Pre-Marriage Counseling is designed to assist the couple in building a Biblical understanding and foundation for their marriage and the following are required:
- Materials that have to be purchased is the applicable book(s) that is required to complete the pre-marriage course “Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts” by Drs. Les and Leslie Parrott, or “Sacred Marriage” by Gary Thomas.
- After completion of the pre-marriage course the couple must see a counselor who will endeavor to help with any unresolved issues.
- The counseling has to be done by either the officiating Pastor or another Pastor designated by the Senior Pastor or the Chief Executive Pastor.
Wedding Ceremony and the Church Facilities Use
Reserved dates for the wedding and rehearsal are dependent upon Church availability and the couple is responsible for the arrangements with the Wedding Coordinator.
