An Open Heaven 2

  Revelation 19:9-16

*There is an open heaven right now

*Jesus Christ and His church are coming through

v11 – a white horse and in righteousness – represents godliness and holiness

-holiness is a life committed to purity of thought, motive, word and deed

-all of God’s character works at once

Faithful & True — the Lord never changes

vs12-14 – Jesus comes through first

-armies are believers and angels

v15 – Jesus will fight the nations of the world

***What are we to do since the Lord is coming back soon and since this virus is upon us?  Turn to John 14:1-3 – STAY CALM…

               HOW ARE WE GOING TO STAY CALM?

(1. ) BY OBTAINING PEACE  –

troubled – means to be stirred…moved away from Jesus & the Word…shaken

***The world will be shaken and we will not be shaken…….

***We can SHAKE off lies from the enemy, anxiety, fear, wrong thoughts & feelings

(2.) BY KNOWING THERE IS A PLACE FOR US – v2

-this is heaven

-no sickness there

-heaven is big enough for everyone to be there

(3.) PROMISE – verse 3

—I will come again

—You can count on and trust in the Lord

—Numbers 23:9 – the Lord is not a man that He would lie

-Jesus is the only way to heaven and the only way to have a complete and total CALMNESS……. 2
