ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE

Luke 2:8-35

(1.) ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE BECAUSE OF THE SUPERNATURAL POWER OF GOD – Luke 2:11

a. A SUPERNATURAL BIRTH – a miraculous birth

b. A SUPERNATURAL FAITH –

-Christianity is a supernatural faith

-He can do anything

c. THE SUPERNATURAL POWER OF GOD INCLUDES ANGELS – Lk 2:9,13& 21

-God created the angels all at once

-emphasize angels and not demons

-emphasize Jesus and not angels

-it only takes one angel to do many things…they are powerful created beings

d. The SUPERNATURAL POWER OF GOD INCLUDES GETTING PREGNANT

Mary was physically pregnant and we are spiritually pregnant

-we are all pregnant with dreams, ideas, thoughts, God plans, creativity *& purpose

-A word from the Lord – IT IS TIME TO GIVE BIRTH…….

(2.) ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH THE LORD BECAUSE OF THE POWER AND TRUTH OF THE WORD OF GOD – Luke 2:29

v29 – Simeon had a promise from the Lord

***God’s Word works

***It is always working no matter what is going on and happening

***Stand on the Word

***Line up your mind with the Word of God

***Stand on the promises of God

(3.) ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH THE LORD BECAUSE THE LORD IS WITH US – Luke 2:25b-27

Remember:  We are never outside of God’s presence…..

-Psalm 139:7-10 & Matthew 1:23  – Immanuel – God with us…
