All Things Are Possible
ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE
Luke 1:26-37 (v37)
(1) ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE BECAUSE OF THE SUPERNATURAL POWER OF GOD – Lk 1
-Christianity is a supernatural faith & Jesus Christ is a supernatural God
a. the supernatural power of God produces angels
Gabriel – means Mighty One of God (v26)
-angels protect and bring strength
b. the supernatural power of God produces pregnancy
-pregnant with GOD STUFF – ideas, thoughts, strategies, new businesses & ministries
-A Word from the Lord – it is time to give birth……
(2) ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH THE LORD BECAUSE OF THE POWER AND TRUTH OF THE WORD OF GOD – Luke 1:38
-Mary heard the Word, received the Word and then stood on the Word of God
-the Word of God works every time
-we can confidence in the Word of God
confident – means to hav a total ands complete assurance. It speaks of concrete being settled so it will into move
(1) Our confidence must be in the Lord – Prov 3:26 & Ps 118:8-9
-He is the only One we can have confidence in
-and we can have confidence in His Word – Phil 1:6
He – this is God and it is singular meaning He is the One and only true God
Begun – this is the act of salvation – receiving Jesus Christ as one’s Savior
-salvation is just the start of one’s spiritual journey
good work – we are a good work
-a good work is being done in us
-do not judge people – allow the Lord to continue to do a work in them
complete it – the Lord will get the job done in every believer
until the Day of Jesus Christ – the lord is working on all of us until we see Jesus Christ face to face
*Stand on the Word of God no matter what……………
-Declare that you will stand on the Word and that nothing will shake you…
(3) ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE BECAUSE OF HIS PRESENCE – Luke 1:28
-we are never alone. The Lord is with us
*The presence of God does not eliminate pressure, trials or difficult times in our lives – Is 43:2-3a
-no one is exempt from going through hard times
-but never doubt the presence of the Lord being with you
-We are never outside of the presence of the Lord – Matthew 1:23 & Psalm 139:7-10
