EPHESIANS 3:20-21 “NOW”

-We serve a Now God meaning He can do anything NOW…

-the Lord did great things in the past

-the Lord will do great things in the future

-we need the Lord to do something NOW

(1) WE NEED THE LORD TO DO SOMETHING NOW BECAUSE WE DO NOT HAVE MUCH TIME LEFT

-Jesus is coming back soon

(2) WE NEED THE LORD TO DO SOMETHING NOW BECAUSE OUR NATION HAS FALLEN AWAY FROM JESUS

***A NOW mentality – is believing the Lord can do anything NOW and at any time or any day, He could so something NOW…

-Have a NOW mentality or you will get stuck at the gate…….Acts 3:1-8

-Getting stuck at the gate is staying in your issues, they become a part of you and your identity and you live with your problems

-It is time to get unstuck……..How do we get unstuck?

(1) CRY OUT TO THE LORD IN PRAYER – vs1-2

-Peter and John were men of prayer and cried out to the Lord in prayer in the temple

-The lame man only cried out about his issues

***PRAY HARD WHEN THINGS GET HARD AND REMEMBER THAT NO SITUATION IS BEYOND THE REACH OF PRAYER***

Example: 1 Kings 17:17-24 – Elijah and a buy rasied from the dead…

(2) HAVE A NOW EXPECTANCY – vs2-5

-a spirit of expectancy is knowing the Lord can do it again

-He did something once for you and He can do it again

-He did something once for someone else or in the Bible and He can do it again

(3) DEVELOP YOUR OWN PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST – vs6-9

-do not fully rely on people

-Remember:  Others can only carry us and take us so far……..

-come off of the coattails of others and pursue Jesus and get on fire for Him…

(4) DEVELOP A NOW FAITH IN THE NAME OF THE LORD – Acts 3:11-16 & 4:8-12

-Faith is in the lord

-Faith comes from the Word of God

-We all have a measure of faith

-Have faith in His name – Name means authority
