Why Rejoice in the Lord?
(1) BECAUSE WE WILL ALL FACE THE CLOCK HITTING TWELVE IN OUR LIVES – MIDNIGHT – Acts 16:20-34
Midnight – a dark time in our lives/a time of crisis/a time of hurt and pain/ a time of upheaval
So what do we do at Midnight?
1, Speak up and never hold your peace – V31
-Speak the Word of God outlaid
2. Stay on a Straight Course – Acts 17:1
-do no get off of the main road…do not quit…stay on there straight and narrow road
3. Realize the enemy is in the mix – v20
-the magistrates represent the enemy
-use your authority over the enemy
4. Rejoice in the Lord – v25
-a step of obedience and faith and the Lord moved……mightily…
(2) BECAUSE THE LORD IS ALWAYS ON THE MOVE – 2 Corinthians 5:7-8
-do we always have to see things to believe them?
-it looked bad for Paul, but the Lord was on the move
-things take time – WAIT WELL….
-Israel did not wait well – they disobeyed, complained, walked in unbelief…They paid a price for it, but did not have to…….
WAIT WELL
-Realize He is the God of the I Wills
-See your miracle as already done
-Rejoice in the Lord
