Miracles Wanted
John 5:1-9
Do you want to be Healed?
God has a miracle, do you want it?
Deception:
Maybe you think God does not hear you
Maybe that you have done too many bad things in your life, Gods not going to listen.
Jesus asked the question because there were things that this man was not willing to give up in order to receive his miracle
Check your surroundings
This man was surrounded by people just like Him
It’s hard to see or receive our miracle when we spend all of our time around people who don’t see Gods goodness and perfect will
You may not be able to control your situation but you can control the people you call friends
We must understand that things may not happen immediately but we must plan for the future
God has given us free will, dont you think that he wants us to do our part and turn to the direction of change?
Fear and doubt, insecurities will give you the impression a miracle is not in store for you.
The enemy can use your surroundings because they are most comfortable for you.
No more Excuses!
7 “Sir,” the invalid replied, “I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I am trying to get in, someone else goes down ahead of me.”
We cant expect the Lord to move in our lives if we are full of excuses
We need to exercise our faith
Jesus Said in VS 8… “Get up! Pick up your mat and walk?”
He had to stop looking at Himself Self-pity!
He stopped looking at everyone else
Vs 9 At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked!
The man was in those conditions for 38 years! Yet when he got his eyes on Jesus he received his healing immediately
When Peter was asked to get out of the boat and walk toward Jesus, we were fine until he focused on his surroundings
All miracles come in the right time (Gods Time)
