Haggai 2:6-9
-the glory of the rebuilt temple is going to be greater than the glory of the prior temple
-there are several meanings of the word glory
(1) THE GLORY OF GOD IS THE PRESENCE OF GOD –
Glory – means the weight of His presence
-there are 3 levels of the Lord’s glory
1. the theological presence – this is knowing the lord is everywhere
2. the manifest presence – this is sensing & feeling the presence of the Lord and seeing the fruit of it
3. The Heavenly Presence of God
-this is the complete and total presence of the Lord only found in heaven
-we can have it here on earth – the Lord’s prayer
(2) THE HEAVENS REVEAL THE GLORY OF GOD – Psalm 19:1-4

TWO PRAISE PRINCIPLES

-the day we are saved the glory and presence of the Lord live within us because the Holy Spirit is in us

2. This means that His glory and presence are on us to do something
-we are all to do something
-we receive His glory for everything the Lord wants us to do
3. This means the glory and presence of God are in and on the believer to change the believer – Isaiah 61:1-3
