A Christmas Miracle Part 1

A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE

Luke 1:26-38,39-42 (v30)

-there is much fear in the world today

-fear is a sign of the last days – Luke 21:25-28

-fear can be a good thing – to warn us of going the wrong way

 fear can be a bad thing that paralyzes us and suffocates faith right out of us

-the angle told Mary not to fear so she could receive a Christmas miracle – the birth of Jesus Christ

(1) DEVELOP YOUR FAITH WALK – ROMANS 10:17

(2) PLACE YOUR FAITH IN THE LORD – 

-He can do anything – Lk 1:46-55

-all praise belongs to Him – Lk 2:20

-He desires to perform a miracle for you right NOW…He is a NOW God…Lk 1:42

NOW – a simple idea to focus on and included in the Bible

     (a) We need a NOW movement among believers

-do not dwell on the past concerning what the Lord has done years ago

-do not dwell on the fact that the Lord can do something over time

     (b) He must be a God of the NOW because we do not have much time left on earth

-put your faith in the Lord and believe for a Christmas miracle NOW

(3) WALK BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT – 2 Cor 5:7

-Mary accepted her pregnancy without seeing anything at all.  She walked by faith…

-most people walk by sight – EX: the 12 spies going into the promised land

REMEMBER: Faith does not deny the problem.  It changes it…
