-sexual sins

-anger

-quarrels and arguments

-selfishness

-witchcraft and drugs

          How to stop the flesh from being active in our lives and marriages?

v15 – this is a picture of wild animals hurting one another

v16 – this is a solution to verse 15

-this will stop arguments, break addictions and produce peace and joy

 Walk is work = Phil 2:12-13

-it is spending time with Jesus every day, which is discipline and work and time – it is always and continuous

-it is not a church thing

-it is easier than battling the enemy

-it is revival

-Walk is a Choice – How Christians live for Jesus is up to them

-Walk changes your behavior and conduct

——–Feed your spirit and starve the flesh

-spending daily time with Jesus decreases the manifestation of the flesh

-every believer must keep walking every day to keep the flesh under control

         1 Peter 3:1-7 – HUSBANDS – MEN

-these are Christian men and husbands

-Husbands are to dwell with their wives

                The Word dwell has several meanings:

1. Dwell means to live with – you only live with your wife & no one else

2. Dwell includes knowing your wife – knowing them inside and out

3. Dwell means to help out

-the word dwell means that husbands are not to merely take up space

4. Dwell includes the treatment of your wife

-this describes an expensive crystal vase
