-but this is a messenger from the Lord

1. Revelation 9:1-12 – The Army From The Pit

2. Revelation 9:13-21 – The Army From The East (China)

The army from the pit – Rev 9:1-12

-These scriptures refer to satan and his demons

-They are not a fringe topic in the Bible

Verse One – Star – this is the devil

-The Lord did not create satan, but Lucifer, who is an angel

-Lucifer rebelled & angels cannot be redeemed

Revelation 12:7-12 – One third of the angels rebelled with Lucifer

Luke 10:17-20 – We have authority over the enemy

Isaiah 14:12-15 – Position and power motivated

Ezekiel 28:11-19 – Lucifer fell because of pride – Angels have free will

Verses 1-2 – Bottomless Pit – this is the tunnel leading to hell

-There is a literal hell – Matthew 25:41

-People choose where they want to spend eternity

Verses 3-12 – the army from the pit

Locusts – these were demons

-Verses 3-4 – These locusts did not eat green vegetation and had tails that sting, which real locusts do not possess

     a. DEMONS FIND US BECAUSE THEIR DAYS ARE NUMBERED – Matthew 8:28-30

     b. demons have one purpose – John 10:10

To fulfill their purpose, demons lie – John 8:44

What should we do when demons lie to us

-Demons attack the anointing – Luke 4:16-21, 28-30, 31-37 (V35)

Tell the enemy to be quiet – be silent

-One of the enemies favorite words is NEVER

Talk back to the enemy and do not agree with them

Make sure pair up with people who will agree with you

Remember – the devil does not want to let you go

1 John 2:12-14 – wicked – means to pull down to his level

-We must spend time with Jesus every day

We can use our authority over the enemy

We must walk in a command mode

Command more than once

Use the name of Jesus
