Luke 24:1-6 – you cannot find the body of Jesus because He is Risen and is Alive

(1.) THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST BRINGS ABOUT COMPLETE CHANGE

– John 11:1, 17-27(v25), 38-44(v39)

-The Lord possesses Resurrection Power

– JESUS CHRIST IS A CHANGE AGENT

Events in life can stink at times, but the Lord can remove the stink from our lives!!!

All things are possible with Jesus Christ – nothing is impossible – Luke 1:37

Nothing is too hard for the Lord to do – Jeremiah 32:17

(2.) BECAUSE JESUS IS RISEN FROM THE DEAD AND IS ALWAYS ALIVE,

WE CAN HAVE CONFIDENCE IN ALL OF HIS PROMISES

– Isaiah 7:14 – Matthew 17:22-23 – John 2:19

-We can only count on and rely upon Jesus to keep His Word all the time concerning everything He says

Jesus said He is coming back – John 14:1-3

Jesus said He would forgive all of our sins – 1 Corinthians 15:12-22

THREE POWERFUL WORDS – You Are Forgiven….

This is a promise from the Lord for every human being who exists now and who has ever existed

1. When it comes to forgiveness, Focus on the One who forgives (Jesus) rather than on the sins you have committed

– Ephesians 4:32

– He wants to forgive everyone – it is who He is

– Forgive means to lift off and send away

– Jesus is the only one who can forgive you

2. Jesus forgives all of our sins – Psalm 103:1-5

-forgives anything that goes against the Lord and His Word

3. Forgiveness allows anyone to go to heaven – Hebrews 12:1-3

-the crowd in heaven is cheering us on/telling us what heaven is like and that it is real
