– Hypocrisy – playing the part of an actor

– Examine yourself and do not point at others

– This is the promise of heaven

– We have an inheritance

            ***Earthly inheritance – who we are in Christ

– Incorruptible & undefiled – cannot be destroyed or spoiled

– Does not fade – does not lose its shine or color over time

– Reservation – once saved, our names are written in the Lamb’s book of life – Revelation 20:12-15

– Verse 8 – I will praise the Lord wildly…jubilantly…totally excited

– Power – this is like the force of an army that pushes back the enemy

– The power of God is the power of grace – multiplied grace – v2

– Various trials & DM – means to be many colored

– There are many kinds of trials

– Manifold grace – 1 Peter 4:10 – means many colored

     *** For every color DM you have, there is a many colored grace to help you through it and bring strength to you to walk in victory through it

      ***Paul’s trial – 2 Corinthians 12:1-7

thorn – the word stake comes from this word.  Paul’s DM felt like a stake going into his heart – this represents pain and hurt
