How can we walk in victory during times of tribulation?

(1.) CHANGE OUR THINKING TO AGREE WITH BIBLE THINKING

– Acts 14:22
-Our own thoughts & opinions do not matter
-Bad things do happen to good people – saved and unsaved
-Examples are Paul – 2 Cor 11:23-29…….Job – Job 1:1-3, 6-22
-Everyone will experience tribulation of some sort – no one is exempt
John was banished to Patmos as a prisoner…served in a mine…boiled in oil
The WHO of tribulation
-The Lord is a great designer, and we are in His hands
The WHY of tribulation
-James 1:1-5
V2 – joy in the Lord that He is doing something great in us
OUR OUTLOOK DETERMINES THE OUTCOME
OUR MOUTH MUST ALIGN WITH OUR MIND
-V3 – IT’S A TEST – means to approve and be genuine
Verses 3-4 – tribulation produces:
-patience – means perseverance/to remain under
-perfect and complete – this is how we grow and mature
-lacking nothing – every part of us will be developed and will have no deficiencies

(2.) GO TO CHURCH

– Hebrews 10:25
Psalm 122:1 & John 2:17
-zeal means to be fiery eagerness/great enthusiasm, and energy
-Some things will only happen at church that will not happen anywhere else
-Stay in church

(3.) STAY SATURATED IN THE HOLY SPIRIT

– Verses 12-13
John said, “I was in the Spirit.”
-Embrace the presence of the Lord – be with Him daily until heaven comes down to earth
Galatians 5:16 – being saturated keeps you walking in the Spirit, which results in a decrease of the flesh

(4.) FOCUS ON JESUS

– Revelation 1:12-27
-The Lord is always with us and is the Almighty God – v8 – He can do anything
-He will see us through
